Handmade doesn't have to mean expensive. Everything below is hand block-printed by artisans in Jaipur, ships from California within three business days, and costs less than $60. Each one arrives ready to give.

Cotton 3-in-1 Travel Pouch Set — $35. Three nesting pouches in one print. For the friend who travels, the sister who's always losing her charger, the colleague leaving for a new job. Nine prints; Navy Bloom and Yellow Garden are the crowd-pleasers.

Velvet 3-in-1 Travel Pouch Set — $40. Same three sizes in cotton velvet. The gift version of the pouch set: richer colour, softer hand, better for makeup and jewelry than toiletries. Black Ikat for someone bold; Mint Bird for someone gentler.
Quilted Tote Bag — from $50. A roomy market tote in quilted cotton with an inside pocket. The Cocoa Marigold zips closed; the reversible ones are $55.
Under $60
Placemats, set of four — $52. The gift for the host. Three prints that each match a tablecloth, runner and napkins, so the set can grow.
Napkins, set of four — $60. Just over the line, but a set of four hand-printed cotton napkins is the gift that gets used every week. Pair with placemats in the same print for a $112 table set.
Just over, worth knowing
Linen cushion cover — $72. The single most-gifted item we make. Honey Laurel and Sage Crest go with almost any sofa.
Three rules for gifting handmade
- Pick the print for their home, not yours. Look at their sofa, their table, their bathroom. Neutrals (Stone Garden, Sage Crest, Navy Bloom) are safe; brights (Marigold Meadow, Coral Poppy, Tiger Stripe) are for people who already own colour.
- Sets beat singles. A 3-in-1 pouch set or four napkins feels generous; one napkin doesn't.
- Tell them it's handmade. Every piece has small variations in the print — mention it, and it becomes the best part of the gift instead of a flaw.
