September was the busiest month we've had. Here's what changed, in the order it arrived.
Travel pouches, three at a time
Seventeen prints of our 3-in-1 travel pouch sets — nine in quilted cotton, eight in velvet. Each set nests large, medium and small, so one price covers all three. The velvet ones surprised us; we expected cotton to lead, and the Black Ikat and Tiger Stripe velvets sold out of their first run in a week.
Totes that turn inside out
Four quilted totes, two of them reversible. The Saffron Marigold and Indigo Marigold flip to a solid side with a printed pocket. We've been carrying the Indigo solid-side-out to the farmers' market and the printed side to everything else.
Jackets
Nine embroidered velvet jackets plus one quilted patchwork — our first apparel beyond bathrobes. One size, open front, lined in contrast stripe. These are made in very small numbers, two or three of each, so if a colourway speaks to you, don't wait for a sale.
Etsy
Everything in the shop is now also on Etsy, shipping from the same Folsom shelves. If you'd rather buy there, the prints, prices and 1–3 day dispatch are identical.
This magazine
And the page you're reading. We've split our stories into four sections — The Workshop, At Home, To Wear & Carry, and Notes — and we'll add something roughly weekly. If there's a question you'd like answered about block printing, care, or how to use a piece, write to us; the next article might be yours.
Coming next
Quilt dimensions on every product page (overdue), more jacket photography, and a holiday gift guide in November. Thank you for being here.
